Urban Decay x JH

Pater Sato has always been a visionary mixed medium artist and I’ve been waiting to give a proper tribute. Ten years ago I was featured in a cosmetics campaign and my chosen makeup was the poster image featured below. Sadly it was never given the go ahead and made live, it was a bit before it’s time and when Urban Decay reached out to me to do something for Pride, I jumped to create something that would finally give this look some shine. I revisited my idea but thought, no let’s go fullly out and create a full art piece set, using paper art, photography, typography and makeup.

They are images taken on a clean screen, then imposed with cut out photos of paper to give texture and dimension. They are some of my favourite new campaign images and I have to say thank you, to UD for giving me the chance to bring more shine to this amazing work.

You can purchase these as poster prints here.
